I'm a research scientist focused on statistical modeling and data visualization in traffic safety. Much of my work involves analyzing driver behavior in work zones and intersections, using large-scale naturalistic driving data such as SHRP2.
At the REACTOR Lab (Real-Time Analytics in Transportation) at InTrans, I help develop and maintain a crash-video database and build visualization tools that support the Iowa Department of Transportation and other transportation safety efforts.
I earned my Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University, where I developed a strong foundation in data analysis and applied research.
I'm always interested in using data to understand better how people drive—and how we can make roads safer for everyone.
